annie sloan paint

Well, I've been and bought the Annie Sloan paint for my dresser today. I've finally decided on a colour and this time, instead of doing my usual dithering around umming and ahhing, I've been there, done that and bought the t-shirt, I mean paint. 

Our nearest stockist is Windermere so off we trotted. 

It was the most glorious, sunny, autumnal day - just perfect for a trip to the Lake District. The colours are a changing and it is so picturesque. It would be a lovely time of year to take a holiday wouldn't it? Great walking weather - cool but sunny.    Ah, we can but dream. What's the chances of the weather being good over the half-term holiday at the end of October?
